Small things really piss me off…
My roommate and I were eating at Lutong Bahay. We chose to eat at the long table located at the left side of the carinderia (Yes, that one facing the mirror). A guy and two girls sat beside us. There was no enough space. I didn’t mind.
I am not very particular with these things. In fact, during my early years in college, I was already used to bear with passengers of LRT/MRT during rush hours. I didn’t mind the smell of different people. That was life. Besides, it would not kill me.
Going back to my story.
The girl sitting right beside the guy said:
Girl1: (with a voice volume i could clearly hear) Ansikip. Ansikip ansikip.
I looked at her as if I was asking her to leave and find another table wherein all of them could eat comfortably.
To the girl(and to the people reading this):
It is not a restaurant, not even close to a fastfood chain. Learn how to adjust to whatever space is available. You were not forced to eat there in the first place. If you can’t really avoid complaining, don’t let other people hear it especially if it would catch their attention. We were the ones who came there first, we didn’t complain. I gave respect to you and your friends when you tried to sit there even the space was not enough. Respect others, too.
And then Karma came:
The other girl (Girl2) got a glass from the table, stood up, got water from the dispenser, took a drink of the water and got back to the table:
Girl1: (talking to girl2…again,with a voice volume i could clearly hear) oi diba dito (tinuro yung table) galing yang baso na yan?
Girl2: oo
Girl1: e diba used na yan?
Girl2: ha? (natatawa na nadidiri) eh nainuman ko na…
Guy: (side comment) hala magkaka STD ka nyan…
I tried not to feel good about it. But no! wahahahhaha. Clean glasses are located near the water dispenser. Girl2 was not aware that she had not yet taken a glass from the rack. She just took the glass from the table not knowing that it was already there when they came. huhuhu. Poor girl2. Blame Girl1 for complaining. lol
